Cookie Policy
A short, plain-English account of the cookies and similar storage we use on this website, why we use them, and how you can change your mind.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (essential cookies), measure how the site is used (analytics cookies), or remember non-essential preferences such as language.
This site also uses similar technologies — localStorage and sessionStorage — which behave like cookies for the purposes of this policy and your consent choices.
2. The cookies we use

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. We do not embed third-party social-media widgets that set cookies before your interaction.
3. Your consent & how to change it
3.1 On your first visit, our cookie banner appears at the foot of the screen with three equally-weighted choices: Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Customize. Essential cookies are set in any case — the site cannot function without them.
3.2 To change your choice at any time, — the banner will reappear. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings; the banner will appear again on your next visit.
4. Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and see which cookies a site has set. The following links go to the cookie-control documentation for the major browsers (these are external pages and may change over time):
- Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Apple Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
For a general guide to cookies and how they work, see allaboutcookies.org.
5. PECR & UK GDPR
This policy and our cookie practices comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) as amended, and with the UK GDPR. The lawful basis for non-essential cookies is your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); essential cookies are placed under the “strictly necessary” exemption in PECR Reg. 6(4).
6. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and reset your stored consent so the banner appears again. Material changes will be communicated by email to active enquirers.
